AV/IM Feature: Instant Messenging
Available with DigiChat AV/IM.
DigiChat has long been known for its group chat capability and powerful moderated chat functions. Now, DigiChat introduces an impressive instant messenger (IM) application that allows you to chat, share files, maintain buddy lists and more. Everything you've come to expect in DigiChat (group chat, rooms and channels, ChatWatch) is included in DigiChat AV/IM as well. See the online status of anyone on your buddy list, create ad hoc chat rooms, or use voice or video for the richest online experience.
In addition to web-based IM, DigiChat AV/IM can also be installed (optional) as an application. Not to be confused with the web-based IM built into DigiChat, this is a locally installable application that can be started independent of a Web browser. It allows you to view and manage your buddy list at all times, see whether they are AV-enabled and provide access to a host of tools and controls to customize your experience.
